We’re pleased to announce the release of v2.50 firmware for Sharedband routers. Commencing tomorrow, this firmware will begin to be remotely deployed to Sharedband routers throughout Sunday to Thursday between 23:00-00:00. No customer involvement is required and due to the volume of routers targeted for this upgrade, it will be rolled out in a staggered fashion over the next couple of months. Interruption to Sharedband connectivity will be avoided but equally should be expected in the following situations:
- Where bonding is deployed using a single Multi-WAN Sharedband router
- Where Sharedband routers are daisy-chained via each other instead of by using a switch
In these cases where interruption to Sharedband connectivity is unavoidable, the duration of this interruption will be less than 30 minutes and often only a little longer than the time necessary for a router to reboot.
Should you experience difficulties resulting from this firmware upgrade, please contact support during working hours by either raising a support ticket at support.sharedband.com or by telephoning us on 01473 287207 + option 2
