We have been informed by our upstream network provider that they will be performing emergency network maintenance on their core routing platform. They will be loading a software patch that will mitigate the “stuck routing announcement” issue they are experiencing when they have an outage.
In an attempt to minimise disruption to our customers, we will manually steer traffic away from their network at 00:30 in preparation for their change which will start at 01:00 and last approximately 30 minutes. Once they have completed their change, we will normalise traffic.
